Brad has always been interested in photography, but an injury in 2003 forced him to give up his more physically taxing sports pursuits, he embraced photography with greater zeal than ever before.

In the intervening years Brad has been a member of several photographic clubs and societies, stating "but by far my greatest ally has been technology, with the internet enabling me to reach the widest audience from all over the world."

Brad has won some awards along the way and his big break came in 2009 when he was named a finalist in the “People In The Garden “ category for the International Garden Photographer Of The Year. Going one better in 2010, Brad won the in the same category in the IGPOTY 2010 competition which is displayed in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew.
